Staff and students of The Co-operative University of Kenya participated in this year’s Mater Heart Run on Saturday 20th May, 2017. The Mater Heart Run is an annual event organized by the Mater Hospital to raise funds for the treatment of children with heart complications. Every year, CUK participates in this event as one of its CSR activities.
The 2016 KCSE Students admitted by Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) have reported to The Co-operative University of Kenya to pursue Various Diplomas (16th May, 2017). About 1,600 students are expected to report for various diplomas to the effect. The CUK’s Ag. The Co-operative University of Kenya on Saturday 13th May, 2017 joined thousands of Kenya in participating in the 2017 edition of the Heart Run of the Karen Hospital, Nairobi at Uhuru gardens. The team of staff and students was led by the University’s communication’s office. The University participates in this annual event as part of its corporate social responsibility.
The Co-operative University of Kenya has received a canopy bench as part of the AARS’ (Africa Air Rescue Services) Health Care Limited corporate social responsibility activity.
