CUK JOINS THE WORD TO MARK THE 2017 INTERNATIONAL DAY OF CO-OPERATIVES

  The Co-operative University of Kenya joined the Kenyan Co-operative Movement in marking this year’s International Day of Co-operatives at the Kenya’s capital, Nairobi. The event which brought together the vast movement was preceded by a series of events included the Co-operatives Environmental day, sporting activities, Ushirika blood donation among others. UNIVERSITY’S STUDENTS’ LEADERS-ELECT SWORN IN

  The Co-operative University of Kenya’s newly elected students’ leaders have been sworn in in a ceremony attended by the University’s Ag. Vice Chancellor Prof. Ngamau Kamau. The leaders were elected in the recently concluded elections at the university. Prof. Ngamau congratulated the leaders and thanked them for conducting their campaigns maturely and peacefully. UN-EGYPT STAFF IN CUK FOR A STUDY VISIT

A delegation from the Egypt’s UN staff has visited The Co-operative University of Kenya for a study visit. The team led by Mrs. Mary Munene of Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Kenya coordinated a visit and a courtesy call to CUK on April 10, 2017.   The Co-operative University of Kenya’s students’ leaders-elect are set to be sworn in on 25th April, 2017 at 4.00pm at the Main Campus in Karen. PROF. ISAAC K. NYAMONGO APPOINTED DEPUTY VICE CHANCELLOR

  Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Education, Science and Technology Dr. Fred Matiang’i has appointed Prof. Isaac k. Nyamongo as the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Co-operative Development, Research and Innovation at The Co-operative University of Kenya. Prof. Nyamongo comes in to head the newly created Division for Co-operative Development, Research And Innovation, a function which was earlier on been domiciled at the institute for co-operative development (ICD). VARSITY HOLDS A RESEARCH, MONITORING AND REVIEW WORKSHOP

  The Co-operative University of Kenya has held a one-day Research, Monitoring and Review Workshop in its main campus Karen. The workshop held on 7th April, 2017 was officially opened by the University’s Ag. Vice Chancellor Prof. Kamau Ngamau represented by Prof. Esther Magiri, The University’s Ag. Deputy Vice Chancellor Finance, Planning and Administration.
