Part II – RequirementsRationale of the Programme Kenya, like other developing economies, is faced with ever increasing technological challenges due to the dynamic nature of computing. This situation calls for human resources that possess the necessary skills and attitudes to keep up with this ever changing landscape. This programme seeks to produce experts capable of providing solutions in cooperative, financial, education, manufacturing, agro-processing and the service sector. The programme is anchored on Kenya’s Vision 2030 which recognizes the role of Science, Technology and Innovation in economic development. Knowledge in Science, Technology and Innovation is a key enabler for implementation of the strategies and flagship projects towards fulfilling vision 2030. This is also reflected in the Africa Union (AU) 2063 Goals under Aspiration One which aims to attain a Prosperous Africa, based on Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development where Science Technology & Innovation are priorities as enablers for driving Manufacturing / Industrialization and Value Addition Programme Specific Admission Requirements Be a holder of KCSE (or equivalent examination) certificate with a minimum aggregate of C+ and a minimum of C+ in both Mathematics and English or Kiswahili, OR
